We chose Fritz to sire this litter for multiple reasons. Fritz has everything you would want in a well bred shorthair, performance, temperment, and conformation. He is easy going, yet hard working, and very trainable. All of these attributes he has proven to throw into his pups with remarkable consistency. Dam: Ridge-Point Dixie Delight

Dixie is really a true example of what I was looking for when I crossed my DK Casey with one of these nicest field trial studs around in Cadens Ruger Weltmeister. Casey is the hardest working dog I have ever seen, her prey drive and desire to hunt trump anything. Her range was purely based on the terrain, and she would run as close or as far as necessary to find game. It is not uncommon to see Casey working 2 or 3 ridges over, having already covered all the ground in between. Dixie not only in inherited her mothers hunting drive but her father's incredible nose and style. When Dixie is on point she puffs up like balloon, this dog drips intensity. She is one of the most stylish dogs on the ground you will ever see, running with animation and personality. She expresses her love of hunting with every piece if dirt she kicks up behind her. She is a calm, clean dog, and not a barker. She is an easy keeper. Dixie is the kind of dog you spend years looking for, it is our hope that with the help of Fritz, we can reproduce and improve upon this fine GSP.
